Dr. Peter Lavine, Physician, is a graduate of Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed numerous postgraduate trainings and fellowship appointments in Pennsylvania, with the titles of Straight Medical Internship, Resident in Medicine, and Senior Assistant Resident in Medicine. Dr. Lavine was also a Lt. Commander in the United States Navy for two years. He completed a residency in Cardiology to become a cardiologist. Dr. Lavine is certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Before coming to TenderCare Clinic, Dr. Lavine worked for Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia for over 30 years, and then relocated to Georgia. He worked for Athens Heart Center in Clinical Cardiology, The Medical Group of St. Joseph’s in Clinical Cardiology, and the Cardiology Care Clinic of Lake Oconee. Dr. Lavine has served as medical staff in multiple Georgia hospitals, as well as being Director of the Coronary Care Unit and Cardiac Rehab at the Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He has also served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor in Pennsylvania.
